Terms of Service

As a Christian camp, we do not permit any use of the camp that is contrary to the Word of God and our Statement of Beliefs. For instance, only couples who are married will be allowed to share a room or private cabin.

Payment requirements

A full, nonrefundable deposit is collected at checkout. Failure to pay the remaining balance by the balance due date will result in a cancellation, and monies paid will be subject to the cancellation policy.

Cancellation policy

The deposit is nonrefundable.

For cancellations made prior to the scheduled arrival date, a refund will be given of any payments made in excess of the deposit.

For cancellations made after the scheduled arrival date, a refund will be given for unused number of rooms or unused number of nights reserved in excess of the deposit amount. Camp fees are not refundable after the arrival date, inasmuch as The Way International will have committed staffing, materials, facilities, and food for each participant.

The Way International shall not be liable for events beyond its control that may interfere with your scheduled occupancy. These include, but are not limited to, inclement weather, transportation or airline strikes, and construction or other reasons for closure of ski or tour sites that were scheduled activities during your time at Camp Gunnison.

Changes in accommodations

In the event that the accommodations you reserved at Camp Gunnison are scheduled for repair or remodeling after your reservation is confirmed, Camp Gunnison reserves the right to notify you of the conflict due to construction and to transfer your reservation to other suitable accommodations on the property. We will notify you as soon as possible. You will have the option to (1) accept the substitute accommodations and, if of a lesser value, your balance will be adjusted accordingly (if the new accommodations are of a greater value, you will not be charged an additional amount) or (2) refuse the substitute accommodations and receive a full refund of all monies paid.

Indemnification and hold harmless

You agree to indemnify and save harmless Camp Gunnison for any liabilities, theft, damage, cost, or expense whatsoever arising from or related to any claim or litigation which may arise out of or in conjunction with your use of the premises including, but not limited to, any claim or liability for personal injury or damage or theft of property which is made, incurred, or sustained by you. Camp Gunnison is not providing any other warranty of any kind, whether written or oral, statutorily, contractual, express, or implied, including, without limitation, the warranty for merchantability and fitness for a practical purpose or use, which are hereby expressly excluded.

Assignment

You shall not assign this agreement or sublet the agreed to accommodations in whole or in part.
